About InterACTIVATE

InterACTIVATE is a strategic marketing communications agency specializing in creating and implementing comprehensive campaigns for businesses and organizations.

My name is Jonathan Trenn and I'm an entrepreneur and a marketing communications strategist.

I've created integrated marketing campaigns in both traditional and digital arenas, having conceptualized from the ground-up marketing campaigns while also having worked to streamline and tweak ongoing efforts that may have been struggling.  I've worked with established companies, start-ups, political candidates, and associations.

My experience includes working with Abraham Harrison a leading digital marketing and public relations firm where I helped launch the cable network FirebrandTV and the web conferencing service ooVoo.com.  At Pericles Consulting, I was part of the team that developed digital media planning and buying strategies for Bush Cheney 04.  Prior to that, I was with Gardy McGrath International, a video production company in northern Virginia where I headed their Media Access Division.  In the early 1990s I spent time at Bonner and Associates, a leading grassroots lobbying firm in downtown Washington, DC.

I've been a speaker at both marketing and political conferences and was a co-contributor for The Age of Conversation 2.

The reason I started InterACTIVATE is that I've long seen a pressing need for organizations to integrate digital strategies into their marketing communications matrix.  Some ignore doing so out of fear.  Others do so half-heartedly.   InterACTIVATE is designed to cut through the hype and confusion to deliver comprehensive strategies.

My passions are fatherhood, exploring nature, and the Boston Red Sox.  To learn a bit more about me you can check out my business blog, Digital Street Journal, and my personal blog, Thoughts from Vinton Ave.  Or you could connect with me on LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter.

I'm a native Rhode Islander, a graduate of Boston College, a single father, and live in Northern Virginia with my son Connor.
